Radiology
The Radiology Department in Christian Fellowship Hospital was set up in the late 1960s with the support of Dr. Ida Belle Scudder, H. O. D of Radiodiagnosis, CMC, Vellore. The scope of Radiology services increased vastly in the 1990s with the arrival of Ultrasound machines. From 2014, doppler scans and a few interventional radiology procedures were started, and cross sectional studies began with the arrival of CT machine (GE Brivo 385- 16 slice CT).
Scope of Services/ Diagnosis & Treatments
All plain X-rays- CR / C- arm (in OT)/ portables/ Dental X-rays (including OPG)- Special X-Ray procedures- like MCU, barium procedures and HSG
- Ultrasound scans
- Doppler studies
- CT scans including CT Angiograms (except coronary angiogram)
- USG guided interventional radiology procedures.
