Pulmonary Medicine
The Department of Pulmonary Medicine was established in October 2013 by Dr. Kancherla Roopa, MD (Respiratory Medicine) from the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, laying a strong foundation for comprehensive respiratory care. The department delivers patient-centered, evidence-based care for the prevention, early diagnosis, and effective management of a broad spectrum of lung and respiratory conditions affecting patients of all ages. From common ailments like asthma and COPD to complex disorders such as interstitial lung diseases, tuberculosis, sleep-disordered breathing, and severe respiratory infections, our multidisciplinary approach combines compassion with clinical excellence.
